James Rodriguez shone in Colombia’s over Paraguay in the opening match of the tournament, placing them at the top of Group D and extending their unbeaten streak to 24 games. The upcoming match against , who secured a draw in their initial match against Brazil, demonstrated that they are a formidable team in the tournament.

Brazil’s first match ended in a goalless draw. Neymar watched from the stands, missing the tournament due to injury. Following the match, the Brazilian soccer star took to social media to remind fans worldwide that this was just the beginning.
