Nicolas Jackson is a Senegalese footballer who plays as a striker . He currently plays for Chelsea and the Senegal national team . Jackson was raised in Ziguinchor , Senegal . He played for local club ASC Tilene before joining Casa Sports , where, in the 2018–19 season , he was part of the first team. On 16 November 2018, he was named Man of the Match in a 1–1 draw against AS Pikine .
In September 2019, Jackson signed for Spanish La Liga club Villarreal , where he initially played in the Juvenil A category .

After returning from loan, Jackson was integrated into Villarreal’s B team , which competed in the Primera División RFEF (Spanish third division). In 2021–22, he scored 7 goals for the Bs, helping the team secure promotion to the Segunda División.
On 3 October 2021, Jackson made his debut for Villarreal’s first team – and La Liga debut – when he replaced Arnaut Danjuma in the final minutes of a 2–0 home win over Real Betis .
On 13 August 2022, Jackson scored his first La Liga goal, opening the scoring in a 3–0 away win against Real Valladolid . On 26 August, Nicolas was officially promoted to Villarreal’s main squad, along with Álex Baena .
In January 2023, Villarreal accepted a £22.5 million bid from Bournemouth for Jackson, but the forward failed a medical due to a hamstring problem .
After returning to action in March, Jackson scored 9 goals in April and May, including braces in games against Celta de Vigo , Athletic Club and Cádiz .
On 30 June 2023, Jackson signed an 8-year contract until 2031 with Premier League side Chelsea ; with the London club paying Villarreal around €37 million for the forward.
