In the wake of Stephen Curry’s dazzling performance in the 2024 Olympic final, Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr., Thibaut Courtois, and Toni Kroos have shared their awe and admiration for the NBA superstar.
Curry, who scored 24 points in the gold medal game, lit up the court with eight three-pointers, including four crucial shots in the final three minutes to secure a 98-87 victory for Team USA over France.
Courtois, Vinicius and Kroos all took to X, formerly Twitter, to express their admiration for Curry, with Kroos notably retweeting a tweet he made a few days ago, which read, “Curry built different.”
Courtois, too, wrote ‘Wow’, tagging Stephen Curry while Vinicius expressed his feelings through emojis.
This is not the first time these Real Madrid players have reacted to basketball. As mentioned earlier, all of them are avid followers of the game and have often visited to watch games in person.
Curry’s remarkable performance, meanwhile, ensured Team USA clinched the gold medal and cemented his legacy as one of the best in the modern game.
Curry’s performance not only mesmerised these three Real Madrid stars, but the entire world, which is still singing praises of his outstanding display against France.
