Real Madrid legend’s son generating lot of expectations at the club

Enzo Alves, the son of Real Madrid legend Marcelo, is quickly becoming one of the most promising young talents at the club.

According to a report from AS, Enzo is generating significant excitement among the staff, with many believing he has the potential to follow in his father’s illustrious footsteps.

Enzo’s journey at Real Madrid began in 2017, and it did not take long for him to make a mark. In his debut match for Real Madrid’s ‘Infantil B’ side, Enzo scored an impressive hat-trick, showcasing his natural goal-scoring ability.

His talent continued to shine during the 2018/19 season, where he netted 24 goals. His contributions were crucial in helping Real Madrid’s ‘Benjamin A’ team secure the title that season, further solidifying his reputation as a promising young striker.

Consistent scorer

As Enzo, 14, progressed through the youth ranks, his performances only improved. Promoted to the ‘Infantil A’ side for the 2022–23 season, he made headlines once again by scoring a stunning 20-minute hat-trick against Atletico Madrid.

Such feats are not unusual for Enzo, who, in his first 100 games for Real Madrid’s youth teams, scored an astounding 105 goals.

This incredible goal-scoring record has earned him the nickname “scoring machine” from the Spanish media, who are closely watching his development.

Recognising his potential, Real Madrid extended Enzo’s contract in May this year until 2027. This extension comes just months after he signed his first contract with the club in December 2022.

The decision to renew and improve his contract so soon is a clear indication of the club’s confidence in his abilities and their belief that he could play a significant role in the future of Real Madrid.

Much more than Marcelo’s son

While Enzo’s connection to Marcelo adds to the interest in his career, his talent on the pitch speaks for itself. He is also highly regarded by the Royal Spanish Football Federation and has been a regular member of Spain’s youth national teams.

Currently a key player for the U-15 squad, Enzo recently scored a vital goal in a 3-1 victory against Scotland in the Pinatar Super Cup, further highlighting his importance to the team.

There have been concerns about the current state of Real Madrid’s Castilla team, with suggestions that the Real Madrid C and Juvenil teams are not providing sufficient reinforcements.

This has led to speculation that Enzo could be called up by Raul, especially if the situation does not improve. With his remarkable track record and undeniable talent, Enzo is a name that is sure to be in the spotlight for years to come.
