Real Madrid’s 20-year-old forward receiving offers to leave the club

Real Madrid Castilla’s promising forward, Alvaro Rodriguez, is attracting significant attention this summer as clubs express interest in securing his talents.

According to journalist Carlos Forjanes from AS, Rodriguez is receiving offers to depart from the team, marking a pivotal moment in his young career.

Rodriguez, a key striker for Castilla, was a part of Real Madrid’s pre-season tour in the United States. However, an untimely sprain forced him to leave the tour prematurely.

During the U.S. tour, the young Uruguayan forward had the opportunity to showcase his skills in a friendly match against AC Milan. He entered the game early in the second half, replacing the injured Cesar Palacios.

Unfortunately, his time on the pitch was cut short as he sustained a severe sprain after nearly 30 minutes of play. This injury has added to the uncertainty surrounding his immediate future, as several clubs have expressed interest in signing him.

As reported before, Espanyol have emerged as a strong contender for Rodriguez’s signature, potentially leading the race to secure the young talent. Furthermore, in recent weeks, other clubs, including Getafe, Alaves, and Real Sociedad, have also shown interest.

Additionally, international clubs like Wolfsburg and RB Leipzig are reportedly keeping a close eye on the situation, hoping to bring him to their respective leagues.

The final decision on Rodriguez’s future will likely hinge on the financial aspects of the deal. Real Madrid are reportedly seeking a transfer fee in the range of €5 million to €11 million.

However, they are also keen on retaining a 50% sell-on clause, ensuring they benefit from any future transfer involving the player. This arrangement highlights Real Madrid’s belief in his potential, even if they allow him to move on this summer.
