Barcelona full-back reacts on Real Madrid’s Mbappe signing

When Real Madrid successfully signed Kylian Mbappe, many believed it would spell trouble for their competitors. The signing was seen as a significant statement, suggesting that Real Madrid would dominate the pitch with Mbappe leading the charge.

Yet, the first few matches of the season have proven that even with such a star player, the competition remains fierce, and other teams are ready to put up a fight.

Alejandro Balde, the young Barcelona full-back, recently spoke out about the impact of Mbappe’s arrival at Real Madrid. While acknowledging Mbappe’s undeniable talent, Balde made it clear that his team is not intimidated.

“Mbappé is a very good player, but we have to focus on ourselves. We shouldn’t look at others and what they do. Football is a game of 11 vs 11,” Balde said, highlighting a crucial mindset for success.

The message was simple but powerful: while it is easy to get caught up in the hype surrounding big signings and the performances of rivals, the key to winning lies in concentrating on one’s own strengths and strategy.

Balde’s comments reflect a broader philosophy in football. Despite the glamour and excitement that players like Mbappe bring to the game, football is fundamentally a team sport.

This is something that Real Madrid have struggled this season. This perspective is essential for Real Madrid’s competitors, who must stay focused and not be distracted by the star power of their opponents.

Real Madrid’s acquisition of Mbappe does not guarantee automatic wins. The team must still perform as a cohesive unit on the field, and their opponents must use this to their advantage, playing with confidence and a clear strategy.

The first few matches of the season have shown that other teams are not backing down; they are bringing their best to challenge Real Madrid’s new line-up.
