Injured Real Madrid midfielder could return earlier than expected – report

Journalist Ramon Alvarez de Mon has provided an encouraging update regarding Dani Ceballos’ recovery, indicating that the process is going much better than initially anticipated.

He mentions that originally, it was expected that Ceballos would be out of action for around two months, but this timeline now appears likely to be shortened.

It is important to recall that Ceballos sustained a grade III sprain in his right ankle just a couple of weeks ago. The severity of the injury was confirmed by the club through an official medical report, which highlighted the seriousness of the situation.

The injury occurred during Real Madrid’s match against Real Betis, a game that was supposed to give Ceballos a solid opportunity to showcase his abilities.

Unfortunately, the injury will keep him out of the squad for a considerable period, although the exact time frame is still subject to his recovery.

Ceballos pushed himself way too much

The incident that led to Ceballos’ injury happened during the second half of the match. In the 65th minute, he began to experience discomfort in his ankle, but instead of immediately leaving the field, he pushed through for a while longer.

The medical staff conducted a thorough assessment, which led to the conclusion that Ceballos would be sidelined for about six to eight weeks, depending on how well his rehabilitation progresses.

This injury comes at a very unfortunate time for Ceballos. The match against Real Betis was his first appearance in the starting lineup this season, offering him a chance to impress the coaching staff and earn a more regular role in the team.

However, with this setback, the midfielder now faces an uphill battle to regain his place in the squad and the confidence of the coaching staff.

Despite this difficult situation, the news of his faster-than-expected recovery will certainly be a relief to both the player and the club.

With continued progress, Ceballos could return to the pitch sooner than initially thought, but his journey back to full fitness will still require patience and careful management.
