Real Madrid megastar feels he has let the fans down following recent subpar displays

Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has yet to reach his full potential at the club, but he is determined to prove himself.

According to journalist Edu Aguirre via El Chiringuito TV, the French star is aware that his performances so far may not have met the expectations of Real Madrid fans, and he personally feels as though he has fallen short of what he intended to achieve.

However, the star forward remains optimistic, convinced that he will succeed and establish himself at the club.

A forgettable outing

Mbappe’s recent performance in El Clasico was particularly disappointing. He was unable to find the back of the net and ended up being caught offside a striking eight times.

Although he has managed to score six goals in La Liga this season, it is important to note that three of these were from penalty kicks, rather than open play.

This has placed pressure on the forward to show improvement in his overall gameplay and contribute more goals from open play in the matches ahead.

Despite this rocky start, though, Real Madrid maintain their belief in Mbappe’s potential, confident that he will eventually deliver performances that reflect his true capabilities.

Hope is not lost

Interestingly, the forward himself is not losing hope and is fully committed to putting in the effort needed to win back the support of the fans. He recognises that he has to work harder to help Real Madrid bounce back from their recent setbacks.

Meanwhile, Mbappe’s upcoming matches could be pivotal for his journey with Real Madrid. His next challenge will be against Valencia, followed by two crucial encounters against AC Milan and Osasuna.

These games will not only test his skill but also his ability to stay focused and resilient under pressure.

This period could prove vital for him to turn things around, and fans will be eager to see if he can deliver the consistent, impactful performances he promised when he joined the club.
