Bayern Munich not ruling out late sale of 23-year-old Real Madrid target – report

Even with just a couple of weeks remaining before the new season kicks off, Alphonso Davies has remained a hot topic at Real Madrid as they look to shore up their ranks in the fullback position.

Davies’ current deal expires in 2025, making him an appealing target for Real Madrid, knowing he could be available on a free transfer.

Real Madrid, in fact, are reportedly eyeing a double-swoop in 2025, which could involve the Bayern Munich full-back.

Davies move not ruled out this summer

However, a potential move for Alphonso Davies this summer has not been ruled out, as per journalist Maximilian Koch

Koch further suggests Bayern Munich, for their part, have decided not to improve their renewal offer for Davies, who is yet to reach an agreement with the Bavarian giants.

That means the ball is on Davies’ court. The Canadian international will have to make a final call on the renewal offer once he returns from his vacation.

Should Davies reject Bayern’s proposal, it is not entirely ruled out that the Bavarians might look to get rid of his services this summer.

Real Madrid to make one last attempt

Davies’ predicament could serve as a major boost for Real Madrid, as they still look for a market opportunity to sign the attacking fullback.

Earlier in June, Real Madrid contacted Bayern and were giving a fee which they were not willing to pay for Davies.

Now, the reigning European champions will make one last attempt to sign the Canadian international.

If the club fail in their attempt to sign the Bayern Munich star this summer, the club will make a Bosman move for the defender in the summer of 2025.
