According to a rumour, negotiations for a new sponsorship agreement between Real Madrid player Vinicius Junior and Nike are almost complete.

ESPN claims that for a few months, the winger and the international sports brand had been in talks about an improved contract. The player’s representative is Fred Pena, CEO of Roc Nation Sports Brazil.

He is anticipated to become one of the primary faces of the North American brand upon the signing of the deal, which might occur by the end of the month. Discussions surrounding the new agreement centre more on marketing and advancing Brazil International’s growth than on financial matters.

He allegedly voiced his anger over the company’s contract and refused to wear his customary colorful Nike boots since he felt they didn’t symbolize his increasing status.The 23-year-old has signed a new contract that would keep him at Real Madrid through 2027. Vini Jr. (@vinijr) / XHe has been sponsored by Nike since he was 13 years old.
