Key Real Madrid duo will be available for Villarreal clash amidst injury concerns

Real Madrid are gearing up for an important home match against Villarreal, scheduled for Saturday evening at the Santiago Bernabeu.

As the squad prepares for the clash, it has emerged that both Rodrygo and Eder Militao are available for selection, reports Mundo Deportivo. Despite not training with the team recently, the duo is ready to contribute on the pitch.

Militao had to leave the field during Real Madrid’s recent encounter with Lille due to discomfort. Following medical tests, it was confirmed that the centre-back did not suffer any significant injury.

Although he trained separately from the group yesterday, he was able to rejoin his teammates today without any issues. This suggests that Militao is fit and ready to participate in the upcoming match against Villarreal.

What happened to Rodrygo?

His recovery has progressed well, and he is expected to be fully available for selection. His presence adds to Real Madrid’s attacking options as they aim to secure a strong result against Villarreal.

Meanwhile, Kylian Mbappe, who has been training at full capacity, is set to start the match as part of Carlo Ancelotti’s plans.

On the other hand, Dani Ceballos has only partially trained with the team, indicating that he may not be fit in time to feature in tomorrow’s fixture.

Ceballos’ absence would add to the list of injured players, which includes Thibaut Courtois, David Alaba, and Brahim Diaz. These key players are still recovering from their respective injuries and will not be available for selection in the upcoming match.

Real Madrid are focusing on maintaining their form and aiming for another crucial win in their La Liga campaign, with the return of key players like Militao and Rodrygo offering a significant boost.
