Real Madrid 19-year-old prodigy opens the door for Serie A transfer

Como are actively pursuing the signing of Nico Paz, and the player himself seems to be warming up to the idea of a move to Italy.

According to reports by Gianluca Di Marzio, Como are determined to strengthen their squad, even as they have just kicked off their championship campaign.

Despite the ongoing negotiations, the path to securing Nico’s signature is proving to be more challenging than initially anticipated.

The Italian club is focused on bringing the Real Madrid player and discussions have reportedly intensified after direct contact was made with former footballer Cesc Fabregas, who played a crucial role in opening up the possibility for the transfer.

Nico’s transfer is imminent

Como exploring multiple avenues to make this deal happen, including a permanent transfer or a loan deal with an obligation to buy.

Real Madrid, however, are keen on including a buy-back clause in any agreement, which would allow them to re-acquire the player in the future if desired.

Last season, Nico made eight appearances at Real Madrid. During his limited time on the pitch, he managed to score a goal in the UEFA Champions League.

Despite his potential, the competition within Real Madrid’s squad is fierce, making it difficult for him to secure a regular spot in the team.

Real Madrid have fixed a price

As reported before, Real Madrid value Nico highly and have set a price of €10 million for 50% of the young midfielder’s rights. This means that Madrid would retain half of his rights, ensuring they benefit from any future transfer of the player.

However, this condition has become a sticking point in the negotiations, as Como and Real Madrid work to reach an agreement that satisfies both sides.

The ongoing talks aim to iron out these details, with the hope that a mutually beneficial arrangement can be finalised soon.

Nico’s potential move away from Real Madrid comes as little surprise, given the intense competition for places in the first team.

During Real Madrid’s pre-season tour in the United States, Nico had the opportunity to showcase his abilities in the absence of several key players.

However, his limited involvement suggests that Carlo Ancelotti may not consider him a crucial part of his immediate plans, which could pave the way for his exit.
