Needless to say, Endrick has received countless praises from fans and coaches alike following his performance against Real Valladolid.

Indeed, on the forward’s recent Instagram post, many Real Madrid teammates can be seen commenting and labelling him as ‘Bobby’.

Where does ‘Bobby’ come from?

Endrick being nicknamed ‘Bobby’ originates through none other than Sir Bobby Charlton, the Manchester United legend.

In his earlier interviews, Endrick had admitted Charlton was one of his idols. As such, he has earned the nickname ‘Bobby’ in the Real Madrid dressing room.

All the players fondly calling Endrick ‘Bobby’ also suggest the youngster has settled in well in the dressing room.

Endrick’s objective now will be to continue his lethal form throughout the campaign and establish himself as a first-team regular at Santiago Bernabeu.

His next assignment will be on Thursday when the reigning European champions take on Las Palmas in the Canary Islands.
