Real Madrid staff relaxed about the injuries to key duo – Romano

Real Madrid’s struggles with injuries were well documented last season, with the club enduring numerous setbacks throughout the campaign.

While this year has seen better fortune, the international break remains a period of heightened anxiety for clubs, as players face an increased risk of picking up injuries while on duty with their national teams.

Unfortunately, Real Madrid fans’ worst fears came true. Aurelien Tchouameni and Ferland Mendy were forced to leave the French national team due to injuries.

Mendy sustained a knock to his right tibia, followed shortly by Tchouameni, who suffered a left foot injury.

Real Madrid unconcerned about injuries to French duo

However, according to Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid’s medical staff remain unconcerned about the injuries to Aurelien Tchouameni and Ferland Mendy, with both players expected to be fully fit and ready to return after the international break.

Despite the setbacks, Mendy and Tchouameni’s recoveries are progressing well, and there is no significant cause for alarm.

In fact, recent reports have suggested that both Frenchmen could make it back in time for Real Madrid’s crucial game against Real Sociedad immediately after the international break.

Given that Los Blancos have lost four points this season already, the return of Mendy and Tchouameni bodes well for the club who have a lot on the line in the upcoming games.

Ceballos on track for later return

Aditionally, as per the report, Dani Ceballos, who is facing a longer rehabilitation period, is expected to rejoin the squad at a later date, once he completes his recovery.

The Spanish midfielder sustained a grade III sprain in his right ankle during the match against Real Betis and thus his return will take more time.
