Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Jr wants to follow the example of Lewis Hamilton and LeBron James in opening schools for disadvantaged children.

The front-runner for the 2024 Ballon d’Or, Vinicius Jr., believes that his efforts off the field—where he aspires to emulate Lewis Hamilton—are equally as significant as those on the field.

LeBron James and Lewis Hamilton are two real Madrid star Vinicius Jr.’s inspirations for starting a school for underprivileged children.

The 24-year-old Brazilian, who is the clear favorite to win October’s Ballon d’Or, is already preparing for his legacy. In the last three seasons, he has won both the Champions League and La Liga.

Vinicius Jr. stated, “I’m already helping lots of children in Brazil.” He is a native of Sao Goncalo, a low-income neighborhood in his own country.

Having my name attached to the first school is one of my main objectives for the upcoming year, since I always looked up to my role models and want to help a lot more people.

“I chat about Neymar, LeBron James, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Lewis Hamilton all the time. One each from the sports I play and one I watch very intently.

“LeBron James asked the people from my institute to visit his school last year, and they stated it’s a great location where the main focus is education rather than just teaching football, basketball, and other sports.

“My goal is to assist numerous children in the future, enabling Brazil to become a nation with superior education and a higher standard of living.”

The Formula One driver Hamilton founded Mission 44, a nonprofit organization aimed at assisting young people from marginalized communities in realizing their potential in the larger community.

James is the creator of the I Promise School in the United States, which was authorized in 2017 to support underprivileged primary school pupils in continuing their education.

Before this week’s draw for the upcoming Champions League season, Vinicius Jr. said, “Only two or three people out of every million decide to become professional athletes.

Giving kids the flexibility and opportunity to pursue careers other than football, like teaching or medicine, is the institute’s slogan and ultimate aim.

“We require additional teachers, attorneys, and physicians in Brazil.”

Football player Vinicius Jr. has dominated in Spain and Europe, as seen by his stats.

In three seasons, his team has won two titles thanks to his fifteen goals. Six goals in the Champions League, including the game-winning goal three months prior in the Final to eliminate Borussia Dortmund.

After losing out on Kylian Mbappe’s bid last year, the Saudis are reportedly prepared to offer $1 billion.

But now that Mbappe is at Madrid with him, Vinicius wants to create history in Spain.

He remarked, “I treasure every moment like it’s my last because I’ve always dreamed of playing for Real Madrid.”

“Winning for the world’s best team is what everyone wants.” And to be able to participate in the greatest games and score so many goals in championship games—to be able to contribute so much.

“I play with players like Dani Carvajal, Luka Modrić, Nacho, and Toni Kroos who have already won six Champions Leagues. I have already won two of them.”

We are inspired daily by them to play above our capabilities and believe that we can achieve anything as a team.

“Now that we have one of the best teams for the ensuing ten years, it is imperative that we demonstrate our abilities on the field.”
