Serie A defender fully committed to his club amid Real Madrid interest – ‘They are my Real’

Andrea Cambiaso, the Juventus defender, recently shared his thoughts on his career, highlighting his dedication to Juventus despite being linked with Real Madrid.

The Italian international, during an interview with Corriere dello Sport, addressed his links with the European Champions.

Although Cambiaso has been mentioned as a potential option for the Spanish giants, he made it clear that Juventus remains the pinnacle of his career.

Cambiaso’s take on Real Madrid

The rumours connecting him to Real Madrid haven’t gone unnoticed, but Cambiaso remains focused on his role at Juventus.

“Only being linked with a club like Real Madrid feels like something bigger than me. I am proud of the admirers I may have,” he began saying.

“It’s motivating to know that somebody appreciates you, but I haven’t received any proposal. In any case, Juventus are my Real Madrid.”

He recently extended his contract with the club until 2029, underlining his commitment to staying in Turin for the long term.

“I’ve extended until 2029 and I want to stay for as long as possible.”

A TAA alternative

Real Madrid, on the other hand, seem to view Cambiaso not as a direct replacement for Carvajal, but as an alternative to their primary target, Trent Alexander-Arnold of Liverpool.

Cambiaso’s versatility and defensive strength make him an appealing option for Madrid as they navigate their defensive challenges in Carvajal’s absence.

However, Juventus have shown no interest in letting one of their key players leave, reinforcing Cambiaso’s importance to the squad.

While Real Madrid are still pursuing Trent Alexander-Arnold, they may turn their attention back to Cambiaso if their efforts with the Liverpool defender do not come to fruition.

For now, though, Cambiaso remains fully committed to his role at Juventus, where he hopes to make an even bigger impact in the coming years.
